Jones Stratos 2023 Limited Edition Splitboard

Regular price $949.95

We were fired up when Jones reached out and wanted us to carry their limited edition Stratos model. Like the Solution, the Stratos shares many of the same features but a more lively feel thanks to the combinations of the flex / sidecut / and rocker profile.

### Jones Says: ###

The new Stratos splitboard is an all-conditions, all-terrain splitboard built for ripping turns, slashing gullies and boosting airs in the backcountry.

A directional freeride shape blended with the board feel of a freestyle stick give the Stratos Split a remarkable energy on snow. The Stratos Split’s energetic board feel is thanks to a narrow sidecut, friendly flex and camber heavy directional rocker profile, while 10mm of taper and a 3D Contour Base 3.0 keep the Stratos Split super quick edge-to-edge. For added response, the Stratos Split is built with our premium Ultra core, Flax/Basalt Power stringers and an ECO-plastic topsheet. For added edge grip and torsional board lock, the Stratos Split features Inner/Outer Traction Tech 3.0, the Boltless Bridge, and Karakoram Ultra Clips 2.0. Nimble and confident in any terrain, the Stratos Split makes you want to slice and dice your way down a run the most fun way possible.

Directional Rocker

A hybrid rocker/camber flex pattern defined by more tip rocker then tail rocker and camber between the bindings. The rockered tip floats the board’s nose and improves maneuverability while the camber underfoot provides edge hold and response. A slightly rockered tail maintains the power and stability of a traditional board but helps keep the tail catch-free initiating turns and landing switch.

"My experience is that most falls in freeriding start from the nose of the board – you either go over the bars in powder, the nose gets caught under a weird crust and tosses you, or you hit a hard tranny at the contact point of the tip and get bucked. Directional Rocker eliminates most of these falls." - Jeremy Jones
